Now in it's 5th season, the York Towne Centre Farmer's Market is held each Thursday evening on the grounds of the York County Courthouse in beautiful downtown York Nebraska. Located 6 miles north of the Interstate 80 interchange, the market boasts a great variety of home grown, hand made and home made produce, crafts and baked goods. Local entertainer Jim Sprague provides music and laughs and each night a lucky shopper will win a gift package donated by local merchants and famers market vendors. The market starts sharply at 5:00 p.m. (central time) and goes until 7:00 p.m. There are also food vendors on hand each evening.
