Cocozelle is one of my very favorite summer squash varieties that I grow on my farm.
A bush type summer squash that produces good yields at a very early stage. It is easily planted as a spring, summer or fall crop because it will produce an abundant crop in only 45 days.
Cocozelle is very beautiful and has an unusual stripped color pattern. Dark green with light green striped squash .
It is very tasty and tender. It can be used in cooking any way that other zucchini's are prepared. Eat freshly sliced, fried, steamed, grilled or even stuffed. It can be canned, frozen or dried. Tastes delicious in zucchini cake
Cocozelle is an heirloom variety from Italy.
