As I explained to a neighbor the other evening, at a Halloween Party, we welcome all visitors.

We have nothing to hide at Shady Hill farms, and in fact we take great pride in our farm, our traditional farming methods, and our livestock.

Many farmers and farm organizations today are quite worried about "animal rights activists," and "the media."

Many farmers frankly feel that how they farm is their business, and no one elses, and that what they do on their farm should be kept out of public view.

We take issue with that approach.

We are proud of our farm, our traditional farming methods, and our livestock.

We feel that the more consumers know about how we farm, and how we produce a truly superior product, the more they will want to support us and our farm and the more they will want to purchase our premium products.

So bring on the visitors! Bring on the media.
