With the arrival of spring Eric moved the chickens out of the greenhouse, so I could prepare the space for our seed starts. When the coop is outside, we have to electrify the poultrey fencing to keep out predators...raccoons, skunks, foxes, feral cats. Out of necessity, I finally learned how to turn off the electric fence by remote. This is not a difficult thing to learn...I just never had to and never did. Now I feel confident turning off the high voltage fence any time I need to climb over to tend the chickens or go on an adventure on the farm!
