It's that time of year again, when all of us here at the Garden have to figure out what to have for dinner on Wednesdays! Now that our weekly Market is done for 2008, we're really missing all that fresh produce, not to mention the other homemade goodies we are so fond of.
Whitton Flowers and Produce and Mathis Farms are scheduling pick-up orders about once a week for their regulars, so we still get to see them on occasion. Still get Uele's Groovy Foods email newsletter, and notes about the small group that's getting together in Midtown on Saturdays.
Melinda sends me pictures of her gorgeous whole wheat breads, and assures me that she's taking holiday orders. And the staff is planning a field trip to DeJaVu Cafe one day for lunch!
I caught Richard Underhill's interview on the library channel last night. Boy, can that man talk about bees!!
So, if anyone wants to drop me an email and talk about next year's market, feel free. And if you see me wandering the grocery store aisles, trying to remember what I ate last winter, you'll understand why!
Until next time,
Jana
