International Seed Day - April 26

http://www.INEAS.org

Dear Activists, Scientists, Politicians and Organic Food Advocates:
We are writing to wish you accomplished goals, peace of mind and content in 2011.
We thank all of you who endorsed the International Seed Day (ISD) in 2010 and urge you to campaign and network this year around April 26.  We also thank members of the media for promoting the campaign and look forward to their collaboration this year.

Since last April 26, there has been various issues and problems facing farmers worldwide especially in Africa and Asia.  Last year, the ISD was endorsed by organizations and individuals in four continents.  In 2011, let's involve those in other regions as well.

Please email us your country's one top-priority problem affecting thefuture of agriculture and challenging farmers, so that we include it in

the press releases and activities of April 26 and bring awareness about them and/or means to resolve them.  Of course, problems and challenges should not be the only focus of our campaign, but sharing solutions and successful stories as well.

For those of you who endorsed the 2010 ISD, please let us know if your or your organization's name is not on the list, which may have been dropped due to an error when redesigned our website in June/July.

We invite you to join this worthy cause by endorsing the ISD.
Wishing You a Fruitful Year,
Wafaa' Al-Natheema
