Double Check Ranch

If you haven't seen the movie Chicken Run, do, it's a funny movie, Mel Gibson plays a great rooster and the chickens behave almost exactly like those ladies.

The quirky ways that the chickens are all up to their own hen-pecking, conniving ways to get out of their cages, how they all go silent and look up at the farmer with big blinking eyes like, "who me?" and especially and most especially the way they run with their lower feathers like big skirts underneath that they hike up so that they can run faster.  It is hilarious!

Every time I see my chickens running toward me for food, I flash back to the movie.
