Double Check Ranch

There is not a lot that I have in the way of lofty thoughts with regards to the federal budget and the fiscal cliff talks or sequestration; it's quite frankly above my paygrade.  

But what I can contribute to the debate is to speak as a person who must live within a budget, who must plan expenditures and repay debt - decisions about living within your means are necessary.  These must take place in the ivory towers of the government, because the government will not have a welfare office to hit up once it spends itself silly.
