Flying P Farms

So excited that I have just had my first call generated from this website.  This is the first year that I have advertized.  Just friends and family until now which really means I was giving away a lot of veggies.  I will be planting a row for the hungry this year but need to decide on which group to work with and actually ask them what veggies they might find useful.  Probably the root crops and winter keepers because everyone is veggie-rich in the summer.  The kids are getting excited as they see the tomato and pepper seedlings getting bigger.  This year they will actually be allowed into the garden more.  Last year they were innocently destructive.  I might set aside an area of peas and beans for them because those were the hands-down favorite.  We also had to fight them for the cherry tomatoes.  Most of the goats are gone except 2 that I am keeping as pets so hopefully we won't have any of the total destruction that we had last year.
