It's been an exciting week here on the farm. Rupert has discovered he is a rooster and he has found his voice. And what a fine boisterous voice it is!
In keeping with Rupert's new discovery, one of our girls has laid her first egg. A fine specimen too-- good size and very hard shelled. She followed up her accomplishment with additional eggs each day after. Now if her sisters will just follow suit!
I will be attending the Johnson City Market this Saturday providing the rain lets up. I was told it is now open. I will have Heirloom and F1 tomato plants, some perennials, Concord grapes, and a shrub or two. Hope to see you there!
(this is on a trial basis, so call or email in the future if you are looking for me. Thanks.)
