Garden Grants Available in NC
NC Park & Recreation Association has some grant money available – for community garden projects that are run through a Park and Rec for a community garden on public land. It must be on public land, and must be in cooperation with your local Parks and Rec Dept. If you are in these NC counties, they would love for your P&R to apply:
Anson, Bertie, Bladen, Carteret, Caswell, Chowan, Columbus, Davie, Graham, Granville, Halifax, Harnett, Henderson, Martin, Moore, Nash, New Hanover, Northampton, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Randolph, Scotland, Swain, Union, Vance, Washington, Yadkin and Yancey

The amount of funding varies with a maximum of $3.000 but could be less. The deadline for this "second chance" is June 17th.
