Hello and Good Morning. It was a brisk 27 degrees this morning at 0645 in Beautiful Rocky Point, NC. Even with a heavy white frost on the ground, the Geese and ducks were out at about, the chickens were scratching and pecking at  the ground. Maybe they were finding frozen bugs. Who knows with them critters. Of course the horses were waiting for their meal, the pigs were still bedded down and the rabbits could care less. I think the hardest part of Cold weather care is getting myself winterized and keeping water from freezing in the animals' bowls. I can't really do a whole lot about my cold natured self, but I try to keep a constant watch and make sure the animals are comfortable. I have found using crocks, instead for water bottles during the winter time helps out with the rabbits and a little warm water at night goes a long way...... Until later, have a good day and thanks for stopping by my little snuggery on the web.
