Apple Valley Farms

I be perfectly honest. I am raising my French Label Rouge and Cornish Cross Rocks chickens on another farm called Spring Hill Farms in Newark, Ohio. Although, my desire is to have my own ranch, "Apple Valley Farms" in the future. There is birthing taking place within my own heart that this will be a realty soon. With that said, "I am waiting expectantly for 100 chicks to arrive on Wed., March 10, 2010. My friend and I at Spring Hill Farms, Dave built a brooder off one side of his pole building. My friends would said, "we built the brooder with this notion, function over form! And, he is right. Get started! Stop talking an build the brooder to keep them warm and sincere! We would like to insulate with bays of hay built around the perimeter. Dave took the initiative and put a window in and board up the holes so that cats do not climb in easily. We anticipate placing an alarm inside so that we can have a constant temperature reading of 95 degrees. Well for now, keep your light on for your friends. Randy
