It's almost time to plant our first crops...!

It is fast approaching Valentine's Day, which is our first date of planting at Rocking A Farm, LLC. Red potatoes, white potatoes, greens, peas and lots of root vegetables will be planted that day. If there is a vegetable that you would like us to grow for you, let us know and we will give it a try!
We are proud to over CSA memberships again this year. Our drop off points are in Sandersville, GA at the courthouse square on Saturdays from 8 am-12 pm and in Milledgeville, GA at Mary Vinson Memorial Library, beginning June 5th and lasting until September 25th. There will be 10 available CSA's, so don't miss your chance to have delicious, fresh-picked, all-natural produce delivered to you! Farm pick-up is also available if those days don't work with you. Our farm is located at 1685 Wiggins Rd., Sandersville, GA.
We will continue to offer grass-fed, grain-finished beef by the half and whole. Prices are $3/lb hanging weight for whole and $3.25/lb for halves. C & B Processing in Milledgeville does a fantastic job. Our pork prices are $150 per half hog and $250 per whole. Pork will be available in July; beef will be available in September-October. Call to reserve yours. We have limited quantities.
Our hens are laying well even in the cold weather. A dozen is $3.
Lori is applying for a Pet Food License in order to sell raw milk from our Jersey girls. We will update when that is available. Price will be $7/half-gallon. If you bring your jar back for refill, you'll get a $2 refund.
Homemade breads and candies are also available upon request: Buttermilk pecan pralines $20/dozen, English muffin bread $5/loaf, cookie grams (pizza sized cookie with personal message in frosting) $20:choose chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar cookie or oatmeal raisin. These make excellent Valentine's gifts!
