AUGUST FARM NEWS9/09/2026
We hope you had a nice relaxing 3 day weekend.
First of all we would like to express to you all a great big "THANK YOU!" Your kind expressions of gratitude for what we do makes doing this so much better. We received so many expressions of gratitude, encouragement, and new ideas!
We have had the good fortune of developing a wonderful community of customers, vendors and friends through our farmers market experience. We all share in the commitment of having access to good, nutritious food supporting local farmers and ranchers. Larry and I thank you for your kind words of encouragement and support.
If you are a frequent customer of any of the Heirloom Markets you are aware we lost one of our own. Adela (fondly known as the salsa lady) has passed. Family, friends, customers, and vendors are deeply saddened. She had a huge personality and was loved by many. May she rest in peace. Gone but not forgotten.
We are slowly "cleaning up" and reorganizing. Some of you were able to enjoy one of the surprises that survived. AND some of our CSA and monthly subscribers had a surprise in their share!
Transplanting continues and we should have a nice falll selection of veggies. It is exciting even amongst the all the craziness.
YOU ARE ALL AMAZING AND WE ARE BLESSED TO KNOW YOU!!
Please take care of yourselves and hydrate!
Gratefully,
Larry and Eunice
