Harvest Mountain Farm Gardens

We have a half acre farm in Lakewood CO area and need someone with experience growing on at least one acre of organic land.This is an internship beginning Feb 20^th through end of May.Please provide details about your skills in tilling, planting and harvesting, marketing and fertilizing and pest management.We are a four season local farm.We have a greenhouse on land where you will care for transplants growing in greenhouse and plant spring crops and manage their healthy growth and harvesting.We have network of distribution set up for those who purchase are produce and herbs.We are going to have 1.5-2 acres by May.

We are a non profit :Significantly restoring profitable small farm agriculture on a human scale through pioneering education and community building.

We now work with schools and institutions to impact activism through action in children and educators lives. We value long term relationships .

We will advance systemic structural change in local foods through – operating a model farm and educating on four season good business practices in small farm sustainable agriculture.

Stipend offered and can discuss possible places you could live.Hours are part time so you could also have income off site.
