March came in like a lion with cold winds and a mighty roar. We lost two of our coverings over the red berry and blueberry high tuunnels but i have extra plastic ready to go on them. Spring is fast approaching and we are getting ready to plant in the greenhouse with some cold tolerance crops. Twentyfive hundred straberry crowns have been order for this year's planting and most all the seeds are ordered. Our Beef are ready for market and if you are interested we have them priced at $2.25 cents per pound hanging weight plus you will pay the butcher his cost of cutting and wrapping. That means you can take it to your favorite shop to have it done.
We will be at the farm to table conference in Pittsburgh March 22 from 1 to 5 pm and on march 16 from 12 to 4 pm at the children museum in Pittsburgh.
