2015 CSA Shares Now Available!
Harvest Thyme Farm & Vineyards, LLC of Cheboygan, MI is proud to announce that our 2015 community-supported agriculture (CSA) shares are now available for reservation on a first-come, first-serve basis. The CSA provides weekly shares of our fresh, sustainably-grown, chemical-free produce.
For 2015, we will be offering two share sizes, a small share, providing 6-8 items a week and a large share, providing 9 to 12 items per week. The large share will have the option of 9 to 12 different items, or larger quantities of 6 to 8 items (typically preferred by larger families). Shares will be semi-customizable, meaning shares will be pre-packaged for pick-up, but members will have the option to exchange items that they do not want with ones they do want during pick-up. Shares will have two terms, a longer, 18-week, full-season share running from mid-June through mid-October and a shorter, 11-week share running from mid-June through the end of August.
Along with the inherent discount on produce provided by the CSA, as a CSA member, you will also have exclusive access to our you-pick berries, as well as special CSA member pricing on our other products, including pastured eggs, cut flowers and fall ornamentals. All CSA members receive a 10% discount on any farmers' market purchases from Harvest Thyme.
As farmers, we are very well aware of working within budget constraints, which is why we will be offering three payment options for 2015. You can pay 25% down by May 1st, then three equal monthly payments beginning June 1st. You can also pay 50% down and 50% by July 1, this will qualify you for a 5% early-pay discount. Finally, you can pay in full by May 1st, which will qualify you for a 10% early-pay discount.
