The Micro-Greenhouse Is Growing Again 🌱

Can Sow Grow is getting its growing space going again, one little crop at a time.

The Micro-Greenhouse is my small-space approach to growing fresh food close to home. It isn't a traditional farm stand with rows of produce waiting every day. What you'll find here depends on what's growing, what's ready, and what I happen to have available.

And that's really the idea.

I grow microgreens, baby salad greens, herbs and other edible plants in small spaces using methods I've developed and experimented with over the years. Some crops are quick. Others need a little more patience. Some get harvested young, while others are allowed to keep growing into baby greens or living bowls.

Because I'm growing in small batches, availability will change naturally.

I'll use this blog as the Micro-Greenhouse chalkboard — a place to share what's growing, what's coming along, what I've been experimenting with, and what's currently available for local pickup.

Sometimes there may be several things available. Sometimes there may only be one or two. And sometimes everything will simply be busy growing.

What's growing now?

We're starting small.

Available now:

🌱 2 living lettuce bowls

These are living plants rather than harvested bags of greens, so they can continue growing until you're ready to use them.

Coming along:

🌿 A small group of baby herbs that are just getting their footing.

More will be planted as I get the Micro-Greenhouse growing again.

If something listed here interests you, send me a line. Quantities may be limited, and local pickup is by prior arrangement only.

Here's to growing a little food wherever we can. 🌱
