Fields of Gold Farm is a Bio-Dynamic and Beyond Organic regional grower nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains within Henderson County, Western North Carolina. We are one of the very few working farms close to downtown...within three miles!

We operate sustainably year-round, and have a USDA Certified Organic 40-acre farm and a 70,000 sq.ft. glass greenhouse. We specialize in raising mixed market garden varieties of fruits, vegetables and herbs that are high vitality and nutrient dense...also called superfoods...for optimal health and wellness! We are a second generation farming family and are passionate about growing great food for our local communities.

We have a 150-member farm-direct CSA available to our area customers. It runs from the second week in May thru the end of November. We offer three seasonal memberships, running 10-weeks each for the spring, summer and fall. The investment for each 10-week segment is $400 (or $40 per week), and each week you receive a wide variety (overflowing half bushel) of fruits, veggies and herbs from our farm, guaranteed to please! We are also excited to offer our superfood to CSA members in Charlotte (NC), Greenville (SC) and Atlanta (GA). Sign up by calling or emailing the farm. We would love to grow for you!

Some exciting new items on the horizon: We will have a u-pick mixed berry operation in the near future. Super sweet raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries will be available. Our farm store will be opening soon with many great products from our farm and farming partners in the local surrounding Appalachian region.

We have a beautiful herd of Oberhasli milking goats, gourmet grassfed 'medicinal quality' beef and a wonderful farm to enjoy! Our goat dairy and creamery will be operating soon and serving up yummy goat milk gelato, yogurt, kefir, cheese and more! Plan a visit when we're ready to serve!

Also in the near future, we plan to offer farming internships that will be for 30-weeks in duration. These will cover the full spectrum of farming and raising livestock using bio-dynamic and beyond organic practices. There will be hands-on as well as classroom work involved. Additional time may be scheduled for special interests. Filling out an application, being interviewed by our staff and two letters of recommendation will be required. We welcome all those interested to apply.

Tours scheduled upon request throughout the year. We participate on the annual ASAP Farm Tour in our region. Come see what we're up to on the farm! Please contact us for more information. Happy to connect with you!
