We are a family farm, pasture raising Highland and Highland Crossed Cattle. Highland Cattle are a Heritage Breed, well suited for our grass feeding and grass finishing program. We do not use hormone supplements nor feed antibiotics. Our farm is MAEAP certified in Farmstead, Cropping and Livestock Systems.
McLaughlin Farm is a member of the American Highland Cattle Association and the Midwest Highland Cattle Association. The farm produces its beef according to the American Highland Cattle Association's Quality Highland Beef program and is also certified under the Beef Quality Assurance program (BQA), a beef industry organization promoting best practices of managing cattle.
Our beef is dry aged, which enhances its flavor and tenderizes the meat as well. It is vacuum packed at a USDA processor. We also have a licensed warehouse facility, all of which allows us to sell our beef by the cut or in larger quantities.

McLaughlin Farm participates in the Meridian Township Farmers' Market in Okemos, MI on Saturdays (May - October). We also sell from the farm, by appointment only. We take reservations for our bundles.
