Famous Fossil Vineyard & Winery grows grapes developed for the cold climate of northern Illinois and makes red, white and fruit wines. Visitors may taste and enjoy our wines in the tasting room and on our deck. There is a small fee for tasting. No appointment is necessary although notice for large groups is appreciated. Take a stroll through the vineyard or watch wine being made through our observation windows. Tours by special arrangement. We have many fun activities throughout the year and are open year round.
