A great deal for high quality organic, local produce!
By: Karrie Perry    (Aug 9, 2012)

This is our first year as part of a produce CSA, and I am so glad we chose this one. I am sure we've come out well ahead of what we would have had to pay for all the organic produce at the grocery store, and these fruits and veggies are both fresh and so delicious. Very high quality, and local, and organic! This summer they've already had a few times where they will just give away 5lb bags of things like pickling cucumbers and zucchini, which are great for canning/homemade Xmas gifts, which is over and above the weekly share at no charge. They also have pastured egg shares this year, so it's pretty much one stop shopping. I highly recommend this farm for a CSA. The organic sweet corn is so delicious (you'd be hard pressed to find that anywhere around here), and the greens are also fabulous.

Awesome Carrots and more
By: Jane Hammer    (May 3, 2008)

We had a fall/winter share with Picadilly Farm and the Belmont Farm (a joint enterprise for the winter). The carrots, beets, and other root vegetables from Picadilly were wonderful. For example, the carrots were outstanding: huge, flavorful, sweet, brilliant orange--the best! The share was always packaged nicely, ready to store, and we were given very comprehensive guidelines for storing the vegetables as well as recipes. Jenny and Bruce are clearly experienced, energetic farmers, invested in their shareholders as much as their and up to date with sustainable management, producing top notch "staples" as well as a nice variety. We live in Arlington and are looking forward to getting our box share from Picadilly for the summer and the fall 2008.
