Walker Organic Farms is a 125 acre third-generation family farm located in the coastal plain of southern Georgia. Entering our 8th year of USDA Certified organic production, we are currently cultivating fifty acres using organic and sustainable techniques. We grow specialty varieties of beets, carrots, greens, potatoes, beans and peas, squash, melons, Relinda's famous sweet onions and sweet corn.
For gardeners and farmers we sell onion seedlings and cover crop seed.
In keeping with the farm mission, vegetables, grains and legumes are rotated in fields of 1/4 acre to four acres, and summer and winter cover crops are used extensively. Developing and refining the process of organic farming ensures that Walker Farms continues its tradition of growing food to taste good. Naturally.
