SP Ranches

Our ranch got started back in 2012 with 5 Black Angus heifers on 10 acres. Raising these "Ladies" on the grass fed lifestyle through paddock grazing helped us to learn more about the benefits of this process to the land, the animals, and the consumers. In 2014 we began adding South Poll cattle to the herd which are medium frame cows that do well in the Texas heat and thrive on the grass fed lifestyle. In 2015 we moved our small herd out to their new permanent home which is the SP Ranches everyone knows today. Later that year, we introduced 10 Heritage Tamworth Pigs to our ranch. Our pigs are pastured and their diet is supplemented with Non-GMO Hugelland Feed. Known as the bacon breed, as well as for their outstanding mothering instincts, these animals have made a fantastic addition to our ranch.
