CSA: Alambria Springs Farm CSA

Alambria Springs Farm CSA and specialty market farm grows over 200 varieties of vegetables and herbs resulting in high quality and diverse offerings. We are very pleased to announce the creation of the Alambria Springs Market share for 2013! The market share is for those members who wish to buy from our farm store on Saturdays on a regular basis throughout the growing season. The market share will allow the members to select only the products they wish to take home with them and to shop any Saturday they wish! This allows for much more freedom of choice about what you put in your basket and allows you to miss some pick up dates with no hassle of needing to find someone to pick up your share for you. Additionally, members will receive a 10% discount on all farm store purchases. This includes not only Alambria produce, fruits, and breads but also a plethora of additional local products such as grass fed meats, organic/free range eggs, hard goat/sheep cheeses, fresh roasted coffee's, local flour/grain and more!

How It Works:

With a purchase of a minimum market share membership, the members will receive a 10% discount off regular retail pricing in the store. In addition, the membership fee secures your spot and allows us to plan and plant for you. So for example, the minimum membership amount available is $300.00. The member will be allowed a $300 credit to use at the store at the 10% discount rate. Once your credit runs out you will no longer receive the 10% discount on your purchases.

Higher amounts of market share store credit can be purchased in $100 increments depending on what you think you might spend. So for example if you think you might spend $25 each week that would add up to $500 over a 20 week growing season. We would encourage you to pre-pay beyond the $300 minimum, based on your families needs, as it benefits you and allows Alambria to purchase seed, plan appropriately for your additional product needs, and cover the many spring time expenses!! Early in the season you will find the farm store filled with mostly greens and produce items such as radishes and scallions. As the season progresses the variety of crops and amounts offered changes with the time of season. Our store will typically offer salad greens, head lettuces, cooking greens(kale, spinach, chard, collards, beet greens), root crops(beets, carrots, garlic, shallots, onions, potatoes),fruiting crops(tomatoes,peppers,eggplant,cucumbers, summer and winter squash etc.), and u-pick/cut culinary herbs(dill, basil, cilantro, oregano, chives, parsley).

Keep in mind that the store will also carry additional local items previously mentioned above!

Shareholders are invited to the farm to pick their own U-pick crops when in season such as, peas, green beans,cherry tomatoes, and raspberries.
