We have a 1/3 acre lot with 10 chickens, 4 Nigerian Dwarf goats, 5 ducks, and one mini-donkey. During the day, everybody roams free. At night, we put everyone in a chicken coop or barn because of coyotes. We feed the chickens and ducks Ranchway scratch and layer pellets. Plus, they get scrapes from our kitchen. We also make totes from feedbags. For handles, we have used everything from twine tape to karate suit belts.
