Alpacas of Windswept Farm

Alpacas of Windswept Farm is nestled in the rolling hills of Frederick County, Maryland. We are a small owner-operated farm that specializes in the breeding of huacaya alpacas. We started with a handful of beautiful silver and rose gray alpacas from some of the finest genetics. Our love of the fiber has expanded our fiber selection to include so much more now. We sell breeding and fiber stock for those interested in starting their own alpaca farm. If you are interested in learning about these wonderful animals, give us a call for an appointment. We help our clients in every aspect of farm setup and daily herd care. From out fiber we create beautiful roving and yarn. We create four basic offerings of yarn; 100% alpaca, an alpaca/bamboo blend, alpaca/mohair and alpaca/silk blends. We offer some natural colors but most of our yarn is hand-dyed in vibrant colors for each season. Farm visits are welcome by Appointment Only.
