We raise registered Navajo-Churro Sheep. Our lambs are finished on luscious pasture with hay as a supplement in winter. We do not use hormones or grains. Antibiotics are used only as medicine when necessary to prevent suffering. We direct market our grass fed Navajo-Churro lamb to individuals and chefs in our area. Please contact us to be put on our list for lamb. Our next processing date is March 2021.

We have a wide selection of raw wool fleeces, roving and pelts. Please visit our web page for more details. We will be launching a new webstore in 2021. We also participate in Shave'em to Save'em sponsored by The Livestock Conservancy.

We offer our best quality lambs as breeding stock and help coach new producers. Look us up on Facebook for current photos and information. If you are interested in breeding stock please contact us.

Arriola Sunshine Farm, has been farming in nature's image since 1987. We are in the business of harvesting solar energy & sequestering carbon with green growing plants to create healthy land, healthy animals, healthy people, and a healthy economy. You can taste the difference! Managing for healthy soils means our produce and meat products are packed full of nutrition. Our irrigation water from mountain snow melt is clean and clear. Each night cool, pine scented mountain air flows through our garden and pastures enhancing the sweetness and flavor of our produce!

We "capture" carbon with green growing plants and turn it into soil with the aid of our grazing animals and poultry. We manage for biodiversity, wildlife habitat, healthy soils and a functioning water cycle. We participate in our local / regional economy and food system.

We are members of the Navajo-Churro Sheep Association, The Livestock Conservancy, Dine Be Iina, Rocky Mountain Farmers Union and are Certified Educators with Holistic Management International and the Savory Institute.

We are approved providers of heritage wool for the Shave 'em to Save 'em heritage wool project. See our web page or contact us for details.

Arriola Sunshine Farm is designated as a Holistic Management Learning Site by Holistic Management International. Contact us for more details and to find out about our next Open Gate event.
