Athens Honey - Tallassee Highlands Apiary

Our honey is all produced locally ourselves except for Sourwood which is harvested from our bees that take a little summer mountain vacation during the bloom of that special tree that makes such delicious honey!
Our bees are raised using certified naturally grown principles and never fed corn syrup or given harsh chemicals. Our main apiary, or bee yard, is in a quiet corner of Athens-Clarke County with abundant nectar, pollen sources and fresh water.

One of our specialties is Soft Set Honey. You may know it as creamed, whipped or spun honey. It's not any of those, just 100% pure honey prepared in a special way that makes it creamy and smooth. We make it using our own honey. We also make it in flavors using natural ingredients like pure lemon essential oil, organic cocoa powder and organic ground cinnamon.
