CSA: August Creek Farm

Our 2018 CSA runs for 16 weeks, from May 29 to September 11. Full shares will receive a bag of vegetables, equivalent to approximately $20 of produce, every week for the 16 week season. Half shares will receive a bag of vegetables of the same value every other week for the 16 week season. We have a market style CSA. How this works: we set our table up at the beginning of pick up with all the weekly items. There is a white board telling how much each member gets of each item, along with some choices the members may have between certain crops. The members are responsible for bringing a bag or box to each pick up for their produce. The farmers are always at the pick up to help answer any questions. Members receive an August Creek Farm reusable cloth grocery bag at the beginning of the season. They are also emailed a Newsletter at the beginning of every week that has a list of what to expect in this week's share, a veggie spotlight, recipes, and a From the Farmer article. We invite all our members to join us at the farm at the end of the season for a Member Appreciation Meal.
