Pastured broiler chickens raised on non-GMO feed and spring water. After three weeks in a brooder they are moved to pasture where forage and insects become their primary diet (allows birds to assimilate a significant amount of vitamins and minerals). After three to five weeks on pasture they are harvested using natural methods (no chlorine is used) and air chilled (eliminates unnecessary water absorption). Whole chicken is $4.00 per pound, parted chicken is also available.
Egg layers forage in open pasture and woods on the Pensmore property (aka "the castle"). They roost in a coop with an open floor that is moved every few days. $3.50 per dozen, $3 per for five dozen or more.
