"Baker No. 9 Handcrafted Bread" creates world-class artisan Sourdough and other naturally fermented breads, shaped by hand and baked in our 3-ton Italian Hearth Deck Oven by a Ninth-Generation Master Baker and his lovely wife.

Michael and Domenica have been working in the baking industry for more than 30 years and consult for bakeries all over the world. Now they want to bring North Idaho some of the best flavors and varieties of bread from around the world.

Some of the amazing breads offered are the Country Sourdough, Rustic French Baguettes, Kalamata Olive Sourdough, Italian Ciabatta and Whole Grain Miche. There are constantly new breads being offered on a seasonal basis like Jalapeno and Cheddar, Potato Dill and even Authentic Bavarian Pretzels during the fall season.

Baker No.9 is under the Cottage Food Law in Idaho but make no mistake, the bakery is first class with professional equipment, professional bakers and fresh-top-quality ingredients. Feel free to contact us to schedule a bakery tour and have a bread chat.
