CSA: Bart & Sarah's at Great Oak Farm

Our 2014 CSA Program offers members 50 chicken in 5 batches. Members receive 10 shares per batch. Production dates are April 19, May 17, June 14. September 20, and October 18. Full-shares are $850; Half-Shares are $425. CSA members receive a 10% discount on eggs and farm produce. Chicken can be picked up at the farm or delivered to a drop-off point. Home delivery is available within a 20 mile radius of the farm. Our chicken is raised outdoors, foraging grass, insects, worms, and grubs. It is a slow growing chicken that matures in 11 weeks as opposed to the 6-week schedule of almost all grocery- and restaurant chicken. The difference is immediately noticeable in the quality of the meat - it is delicious!
