Cloverworks Farm is a Vermont sheep farm specializing in the production of premium lamb, wool, yarn and pelts. Our sheep are primarily grass fed, with daily pasture rotation. We believe that our Registered Bluefaced Leicester and Registered Border Leicester sheep offer an optimized balance of meat and wool characteristics.

We offer beautiful hand-dyed yarns on our website. We also offer lamb in 10,20 and 40 lb boxes for delivery in Vermont and New England.

We offer farm tours by appointment and are always happy to meet with new farmers to talk about our operation.

Bluefaced Leicesters and Border Leicesters both hail from Britain, where they originated as one of the first breeds improved by Robert Bakewell. The Improved Leicester diverged as different strains became different breeds. The Bluefaced Leicester has fine wool and a long, elegant body. The Border Leicester is more solid in build with abundant medium wool and a hardier consitution. Both breeds have strong genetic bases for improvement and dedicated breed associations.
