We raise pure Finnsheep based on the standards of the Finnish folks overseas. Larger carcass, larger sheep and excellent wool for spinners.We sell superior lambs and on occasion bred ewes. We are located in new Windsor Maryland on a historical old farm, with back to its roots charm.we have freezer lamb, wool,fleeces, breeding stock. We also raise finn/bfl crosses for woolers. Finnsheep is a very mild tasting sheep. The Finnsheep internalize their fat so there is not a strong "sheepy" taste. Just a mouth watering tender meat. The wool is in high demand due to its beauty and softness. We also,on occasion have full pelts for sale that are 100% washable.
