Quaking Hill Farm

Our farm is located on the Clarendon Linden Fault line and occasionally experiences small earthquakes and tremors, hence the name "Quaking Hill Farm." We are a small family farm and have a passion for raising food the old fashioned way and preserving heritage livestock.

We currently offer for sale fresh eggs, broiler chickens, pork and beef products, and fresh turkey for Thanksgiving. These may be ordered via our website, www.quakinghillfarm.com, for local pickup or delivery.

Heritage Breed animals: Heritage breeds are those traditionally raised by our forefathers - the animals you would have found on your great-grandparents farm.

We generally have the following breeding stock for sale:

Chickens - Black Giants, also known as Black Jersey Giants.

Goats - Spanish goats are on the "watch list" of the American Livestock Conservancy. Brought here by the Spanish in the 1500's where they flourished, they have now been replaced by imported breeds. There are few purebred Spanish goats available in NYS. Ours are of the highest quality and vigor and are used for both meat and milk production. We have kids of all colors available in the spring that may be registered with the Spanish Goat Association. Ours are very tame and make great pets. They produce fiber that can be spun into yarn. Special pricing for youth involved in 4-H.

Pigs - Duroc and Berkshire pigs. Check in with us if you are looking for feeder pigs.

Cows - American Milking Devons. They are a hardy, dual purpose cow, perfect for a homestead. They produce rich milk and high quality beef. They are listed as "critically threatened" by the American Livestock Conservancy.
