Blazing Star Organics is a family farm on the eastern plains of Colorado. We raise Cashmere goats for their valuable downy undercoat. Cashmere is the most luxurious fiber. Our climate is very similar to that of the steppe region of Mongolia where cashmere goats originated and our goats thrive in our hot dry summers and cold windy winters. Cashmere fiber is shed every spring and each animal is hand combed at least twice to harvest their valuable downy undercoat.
