The Call Again Farm Journal

The weather was warm enough today to wash away much of our beautiful snow.  The turkeys and chickens got to outside today.  The chickens chose to stay inside most of the time, but we didn't have the lights on in the barn and so the turkeys were too scared to go in.  The stayed out in the rain all day, but were so glad to see us when it was time to bring them in tonight.  They were soaking wet.  As soon as they got inside they perched and started preening.  They looked so funny as they pushed the water soaking their feathers into droplets and flung the water drops into the air!
