Brookings Wednesday Market starts up March 27th
Mark your calendars on March 27th for the start of the Brookings Wednesday Farmers' Market! Remember, we hold this popular farmers' market at the Chetco Grange Community Center (corner of Highway 101 and Zimmerman Lane in Harbor) every Wednesday from 10 am to 3 pm.
NEWS FLASH!! We'll be asking the Chetco Grange to approve making the Wednesday Market YEAR-ROUND - watch this blog (or the Pilot) for news once this is approved.
You can expect, for the first six weeks or so, bedding plants, greens, salad mix, eggs, root crops, and a variety of locally produced foods and crafts. Strawberries usually start in mid-May, and our market builds from there.
