Hi Friends,

We are plugging through this hot weather with the pleasant thought that at least the tomato plants are happy!  Because of the excessive heat, be sure to try to pick up your bag as soon as possible after delivery to ensure that your produce stays fresh and tasty.  If you are a B member, this week your bag will contain...

*  Fennel

*  Cabbage (half share members)

*  Head Lettuce (full share members, it is in the same bag as the escarole.  Don't mix them up!)

*  Summer Squash

*  Salad Mix

*  Sweet Onions (this is a new variety for us and they are called Walla Walla.  I bet you are going to lova lova them!)

*  Escarole

*  Sugar Snap Peas

*  Shell Peas

The pea season is over:-( but snaps beans are coming on strong.  We have had two loads of water delivered with a third scheduled for Monday and we had .2 inches of rain last night... Leah is happy!
