Vintage Hobby Farm

The 2010 season is off to a good start.  We have many seeds started and the snow is melting and the gardens are being warmed by the sun. This year we are offering 45 shares of produce and herbs, 20 flower shares, eggs, beef packages, chickens, turkeys, pork packages, and bread. We are growing a large variety of many vegetables and herbs. Ever eat a purple carrot, or a striped tomato?? Heirlooms are so beautifull and tasty! We are looking forward to getting dirty and working on the land.

I am so excited looking through the seed catalogs. I made the decision to do all Heirloom seeds since we are a Heritage Breed farm. They just taste better and are more natural. Of course you are depending on natre not science. But the flavor is outstanding. I can't wait to start to dig in the dirt and see the first signs of spring. To taste the new strawberries and asparagus. I can't wait to meet the new spring baby farm animals and hear the birds sing. For now I just dream and organize my gardens and get ready to start the indoor seeds.
