Investigating corrupted officials .Florida Governer refiles his request for a statewide grand jury to investigate officials
When jobs ,homes,cars and savings are lost, what else remains to hold on other than MORAL VALUES.In times as tough as never been witnessed before in our living memory ,we need to hold people accountable for their wrong doings that affect our lives and livelihood.We as farmers work the land to produce food for the living.Imagine that your tax money is being plundered by officials who get , for example : A PAY FOR PLAY!
I read an article today in the Palm Beach Post about Governer Crist who cited" a rash of crimes commited by local and state public officials while acting in their official capacity".
Gues what happened?His request was rejected by the Fla. high court .Nevertheless . The governer filed for another second petition incorporating 11 crimes commited by officials including bribery,child pornography and drug offences..Three Palm Beach County commissioners have gone to federal prison since 2006.More details at the link below:

In the new year 2010 we need to look carefully at our ballots and votes .We elect officials that represent us and they do quite the opposite of what we expect from them .For example:Look at what happened to HR 2749 at the House of Repesentative.As small farmers do we have anyone who can speak for our interests?If not, then it is time to vote for small farmers representatives.May be some of us need to consider running for elections on local or national levels !Why not?
We need courageous representatives and elected officials like Governor Charles Crist to stand up against corruption.Make sure you elect officials whose MORAL VALUES ACCOUNT is the one which counts .
