Organic Certification with a clean game to play!
We have made it through all the complicated paperwork for our ORGANIC certification. All our Lavender, Produce, Woodlot, Soaps & Lotion will be certified by summer! The 20 farm acres fit all requirements. The years of documentation & no cigarette butts paid off.
I just can't believe how involved certification is. It felt like we were buying another house.
I'll make a deal, the first person to find a cigarette butt on the property gets a $50 gift card to our gift shop!!

You have got to be kidding me....you mean to say your certification would have been stalled if inspectors had found so much as one cigarette butt on your fields? That is reason enough to A)quit smoking B)Buy organic.
Actually YES if you have a abundance of cigarette butts you may be denied. Nicotine is an insecticide! That is why I don't smoke!! I have harsh rules here about NO smoking on the farm. This farm is spotless!! So if you find a cigarette but you will get a $50 gift certificate! It's like arrowhead hunting, you have to look to find one! Hint check the driveway from the DELIVERY drivers.
It's nice to be able to enjoy the peace and cleanliness of the farm. It's not like exiting a highway ramp and looking at millions of butts.
