Personally, there is just something in the air that comes about when Valentine's Day comes around. Of course, every day is a day to do things in the garden and things to take care of in the farm, but just something infectious about the holidays floats around and brings everyone a little bit of uprising 'MMMMMFFFFFFMMPH'.
I think you might agree.
There are four of us that work on the farm here. Bryce, Lyndy (me), Joshua (age 16), and Summer (age 12), and together, we make the corners of this little world turn round and round. We are in the process of building a second hoop house - a huge improvement that we are very excited about! It's smaller than the first one that we have, but not by much. Anyway, two is better than one, as could be expected.
We are abundantly grateful for the warm, balmy Spring weather which encourages lush growth all over the farm! The garlic, lettuce, broccoli, cabbages along with the tomato plants, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant are verdant and happy! The pigs are getting fat--YUM!! The free range chickens are happy and laying lots of eggs.
Of course, the Spring brings monstrous winds too, which blew the top off the Hoop House! There is a blessing in this too...
God is growing people here, along with the delicious food! We plant the seeds and He brings the harvest.
