Doko Farm is Working for a Healthy Community

Doko Farm continues to make the health and safety of our family, and our community, our top priority. With the developing coronavirus pandemic, it is more important now, than ever. Being a farm, working with livestock, and handling food, means that we already have strict hygiene practices in place, such as hand washing, and disinfecting equipment. Here is what we are doing to keep everyone healthy.

*Hand washing is constant. We are washing our hands between farm tasks, before we handle product, and throughout the day.
Our farmer's market and delivery gear is disinfected before, and after, each trip, as well as, wiped down during markets, and in between delivery stops.

*We are keeping our family healthy. We are practicing social distancing and have restricted off farm trips to only those that are absolutely necessary. We are also keeping our immune systems boosted through a healthy diet, fresh air, and exercise. We are trying to get more rest, and we are looking after our mental health too.

*We are following CDC guidelines for limiting groups. All farm tours are canceled, until it is deemed safe to resume.

We have added some things as well, so that you may more easily purchase from us, while reducing your time out and about.

*We are participating in a small pop-up farmer's market in the Pinehurst Community of Columbia.

*We offer drive-through pick-up at the farm. Email us at dokofarm-AT-gmail-DOT-com with your order and we will bring it to your car when you arrive. Doko Farm Stand times and product availability can be found on our website: www.dokofarm.org.

And more is on the way!

*We are working on being able to have customers place their order online for pickup at the farm, farmer's market, or Doko Farm Meat-up Location

*We are accessing the desire for home delivery within our local communities.

*We are working on being able to accept online payments.

*We are trying to add additional processing dates to keep our freezers stocked for our community.

*In lieu of in person farm tours, we are putting together some virtual farm tours.
