Homegrown Harvest

It finally dried out enough so we could plant. We have our lettuce blend, sweet edible pod peas, swiss chard, herbs, and flowers ready right now. Come see us Saturday mornings 8am - Noon at the Danville, Indiana Farmer's Market!

The seedlings are growing; we're hoping it warms up soon!

Spring is getting closer every day!

A new season is here, and we're looking forward to meeting you at the farmer's markets! Can't wait to taste the first ripe tomato!

Hi, and welcome to the Homegrown Harvest blog! Our pumpkin plants are growing rapidly in spite of the cool rainy summer we've been having. The leaves are deep green and the vines keep getting longer and longer. It seems like they grow a couple inches a night!  The pumpkins should be ready in early October. 

Welcome to our blog! The early lettuce is growing nicely, and we look to have a wide selection of other vegetables starting in early June. The warmer weather this week will be great for working outside.  Thanks for checking in.
