Bluegrass Farmers Market

Thought it was time for an update!

Our search committee has been working very hard trying to find a market site location to replace our Richmond Rd. market. We all have hopes that it will still be in the same area so that our customers can continue to shop for the freshest homegrown fruits and produce. We have had many people respond to our request for possible locations....thank you all for your support. Unfortunately many of them do not meet the zoning requirements for a farmers market, so this has been a rough road to hoe, so to speak. Some where smaller than we would like, some said no and while a few really want our market, the committee felt that it just wouldn't work for us.

So, the bad news...we still do not have a second market site.

The almost good news...the committee has narrowed it down to a few sites.

The good news...we will have a market site for our opening day on April 18^th.

The great news...we have a list of new farmers who want to join our market! :)

The extra great news...we will continue at Azur Restaurant & Patio and that market will open on March 28^th with limited participation.
