Bluegrass Farmers Market

Saturday is going to be one heck of a day filled with excitement! You'll have to wake up with our farmers to enjoy the first bit of amazement....there is going to be a total lunar eclipse of the moon or as it is known...a blood moon! It's the shortest lunar eclipse of the 21^st century! But, you'll have to get up with our farmers in order to view it...it starts at 5:01am and reaches it's maximum viewable in Fayette County at 7:18am...hang in there because it will still be partially visible until 10:59am.

You'll be able to still see this while you are driving to the next exciting event of the day...the Bluegrass Farmers' Market at our Azur Restaurant & Patio location! It's a little early in the season for full market participation but that is the price that you pay when you choose to shop at Lexington's largest 100% homegrown/produced farmers market. The great part is you can guarantee that whatever you'll find, it will be raised, grown, baked or made by one of our farmer members. :) I do know that Stone Burr Farm will be bringing their wonderful lamb! And, Hokhmah Farm will be returning with the same goodies they brought last week!

Then to continue on with the excitement go out to Keeneland and enjoy the opening weekend of the spring meet!

The excitement of the day will conclude when our very own University of Kentucky Wildcats compete in the Final Four and they play at approximately 8:49pm! Go Big Blue! Sure would be nice to be 39 and 0! 40 and 0 would be really great!!!
