It's a great day at the Bluegrass Farmers' Market!
Yippee! We have a replacement location after the loss of our Richmond Rd. market site! Yup, the final paperwork got all of the i's dotted and the t's crossed today! It's a great day for the Bluegrass Farmers' Market! :) So, where is the new location? At the Liquor Barn Hamburg Pavillion! :)
The folks at the Liquor Barn Hamburg Pavillion were so kind as to offer us space to set up for our 2015 market season. And, the great news is we will be opening on April 18th! We are all thrilled with the new location and look forward to a great working relationship with them and the Hamburg Journal. You can't operate a farmers market without sponsors and when you add these two to our already established partnership with Azur Restaurant & Patio, it's a win-win situation for everyone...farmers and shoppers included.
I'm hoping everyone is as excited about this news as I am...it's time to welcome spring in a grand way!!! I want to say than you to our search committee and the board for all of their time and energy spent trying to find a replacement market...we all really appreciate it. I would also like to thank the folks at Pedal the Planet and Fast Signs for the many years we filled your parking lot each Saturday and Tuesday. We fully understand the reason why we had to move but we wanted to just say thanks for everything that you did for our farmers.
Now, we get to move forward and create another home for the Bluegrass Farmers' Market at Liquor Barn at Hamburg Pavillion! Stayed tuned for updates and new news.
